Held every two years and acclaimed internationally, the exhibition is dedicated to materials, equipment and technologies for streets, roads, highways and cities, bringing together professionals who work in the fields of infrastructures and land use planning.

This year, organisers are creating a ‘smart infrastructure village’ to assist company delegate meetings with clients. It will be based on three main themes: energy, information and communication technologies; and interconnectable software.

Among companies set to exhibit at Interoute&Ville 2012 are 152 3M; 5511 BP; 3016 Cemex; 4017 Delta Bloc; 217 Fayat; 337 Swarco; 1279 Sovitec; and 1285 Zehntner.

Alongside what will be the 5th edition of the Interoute&Ville event, being held October 2-4, 2012, in Lyon’s Eurexpo centre, will be the IDRRIM (French Institute of Roads, Streets and Infrastructure for Mobility) Conference for the French road community. This conference is described as having a high value of technology and prospecting, making it a benchmark event for the road technical community. Organisers say speeches during the conference will be in French only.
